2016 In-person Affiliate Knowledge Exchange | Reflections on Issue-Level Collaboration
The Shared Value Initiative is exploring new opportunities to engage in issue-specific coalitions to apply shared value solutions to global challenges. While still in the early stages of this work, the Initiative sees immense potential for issue-based efforts that move beyond single partner opportunities to broader coalition efforts that are private sector led through shared value. As part of our Affiliate Knowledge Exchange activities on Monday, May 9th, the Network engaged in a dynamic conversation about the opportunities and challenges of collaborative efforts. Leveraging expertise from the on the ground work of our Consulting Affiliates, the group conversation evaluated key elements for successful issue-level collaborations and the role of consultants in supporting collaborative efforts.
